Onimusha Way of the Sword

Onimusha Way of the Sword

The upcoming action-adventure game Onimusha Way of the Sword will create and release by Capcom. As the first mainline installment in the series since Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams (2006), the game Onimusha Way of the Sword  is scheduled for release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Played from a third-person perspective, the game follows the samurai Miyamoto Musashi—modeled after the legendary actor Toshiro Mifune—as he navigates a dark fantasy version of Edo-period Kyoto. His journey pits him against rival swordsmen, demons, and other supernatural threats. Gameplay focuses on methodical sword combat. Musashi’s primary weapon can be used to strike, parry attacks, or deflect projectiles. A well-timed parry can “steer” an opponent, forcing them off-balance and leaving them vulnerable. Musashi can also enter a defensive “guard” stance to block incoming attacks from all directions. Successfully striking and parrying depletes an enemy’s stamina, creating an opportunity for the
