The Duskbloods

The Duskbloods

FromSoftware is developing a multiplayer action role-playing game called The Duskbloods for the Nintendo Switch 2. It supports both PvP and PvE combat and can accommodate up to eight people.  Across a variety of maps, players compete against over a dozen Bloodsworn that resemble vampires and each have their own special skills and weaponry. A deep character customization system allows players to define their Bloodsworn’s “blood history and fate.” This not only alters their appearance and attributes but also assigns them a specific in-match role with unique objectives, such as hunting a rival or protecting an ally. Matches are dynamic, featuring an event system that can spawn special enemies or add new objectives. Players earn Victory Points through combat or strategy, with the last player standing declared the winner. All participants earn rewards for customizing their characters, win or lose. Resident Evil Requiem

Resident Evil Requiem is an upcoming survival horror game from Capcom and the ninth mainline installment in the franchise. The game Resident Evil Requiem follows FBI agent Grace Ashcroft, a new protagonist, as she looks into a series of unexplained fatalities at a rural hotel. It is set after the events of Resident Evil Village (2021). Capcom announced Requiem at the Summer Game Fest in 2025. A key feature of the single-player experience is the ability to seamlessly switch between first-person and third-person perspectives—a series first since the recent shift to exclusively first-person games. Capcom states that the default first-person view provides “tense, realistic gameplay,” while the third-person mode is “ideal for players who prefer action-packed gameplay. Onimusha Way of the Sword

Onimusha Way of the Sword

The upcoming action-adventure game Onimusha Way of the Sword will create and release by Capcom. As the first mainline installment in the series since Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams (2006), the game Onimusha Way of the Sword  is scheduled for release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Windows, and Xbox Series X/S. Played from a third-person perspective, the game follows the samurai Miyamoto Musashi—modeled after the legendary actor Toshiro Mifune—as he navigates a dark fantasy version of Edo-period Kyoto. His journey pits him against rival swordsmen, demons, and other supernatural threats. Gameplay focuses on methodical sword combat. Musashi’s primary weapon can be used to strike, parry attacks, or deflect projectiles. A well-timed parry can “steer” an opponent, forcing them off-balance and leaving them vulnerable. Musashi can also enter a defensive “guard” stance to block incoming attacks from all directions. Successfully striking and parrying depletes an enemy’s stamina, creating an opportunity for the

007 First Light

007 First Light

IO Interactive is developing and publishing the action-adventure game 007 First Light. Drawing from Ian Fleming’s novels, short stories, and the iconic film series, the game introduces an entirely original narrative that explores James Bond’s origin, following his first mission to obtain the license to kill and the desired 00 rank. Activision’s non-exclusive rights to create James Bond video games were withdrawn following the publication of 007 Legends in 2012, which caused the franchise to take a lengthy hiatus from the gaming industry. IO Interactive officially confirmed a new Bond project in November 2020, moving into full development after the completion of Hitman 3 (2021), with the game’s full reveal taking place in June 2025. 2026 will see the release of 007 First Light for the Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, Windows PC, and Nintendo Switch 2.
