Sonic and the Secret Rings
Sonic and the Secret Rings is a platform game launched in 2007 for the Nintendo Wii, created by Sonic Team and distributed by Sega. As an offshoot of the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, it marks the series’ debut on the Wii console. The plot centers on Sonic’s journey to defeat Erazor Djinn, an evil genie threatening his world. Alongside the traditional fast-paced platforming seen in previous Sonic titles, this game adds new features like earning experience points, leveling up the character, and unlocking special skills as players advance. This game was developed as an alternative to a cancelled Wii port of the 2006 Sonic the Hedgehog title.
